Abstract     Changes in medical indications for certain procedures have to ensue the evolution in treatment of infertility. Despite a huge progress in fertilisation with biomedical assistance some infertile couples can only be helped with donored egg or sperm cells. These procedures are medically approved only for a minority of couples whom is with homologous procedures impossible to help. The progress in treating male infertility results is smaller assortment of medical indications for donoring procedures in fertilisation with biomedical assistance. Many indications for donoring procedures 10 years ago are nowadays established indications for the ICSI proceeding. Donoring of egg cells became possible just after the in vitro fertilisation which is a great benefit for all kinds of infertility was introduced. Therefore its medical approval is even more interesting. A number of controversal guestions are linked with donated egg cells. In our country the donoring procedures for fertilization with biomedical assistance are regulated by the new law from 2001.
