Abstract		In last six years hybrid external fixator was used in seven patients. Two times it was used for proximal tibial fractures and five times in fractures of the distal tibia. In four cases hybrid fixator was used as a secondary method of fracture treatment, in three cases as a primary method. The report shows cases treated by hybrid fixator, the reasons and the advantages of using it.
