Abstract		Ultrasound-guided liver biopsy using the biopsy gun has proved a safe technique for the retrieval of hepatic tissue specimens in children, and should definitively replace the conventional manual biopsy carried out with the older needles. Our results accord with those obtained in other institutions, which report comparable rates of related complications and early changes occurring within 4 months post-transplantation, or at the later stage of follow up. Doppler sonography is a useful method for assessing children following liver transplantation.
Summary		Prispevek predstavlja ultrazvočno vodene biopsije z biopsijsko pištolo pri otrocih. Te so varne in je treba prostoročne biopsije z iglami brez biopsijske pištole opustiti. Ultrazvočne in ultrazvočne Dopplerjeve preiskave jeter po presaditvi jeter so velikega pomena pri sledenju in vodenju otrok po presaditvi jeter.
