Abstract		The inborn remnant of the omphalomesenteric duct is known as Meckel's diverticulum. Heterotopic tissue, like gastric mucosa, can be found in it. Because of exulceration of mucosa acute severe bleeding can occure in children. Clinical characteristcs, diagnostic and therapy of acute severe bleeding caused by exulceration of Meckel's diverticulum in an infant and in adolescent are presented.
Summary		Meckelov divertikel je prirojeni ostanek omfalomezenteričnega voda. Lahko vsebuje ektopično želodčno sluznico. Zaradi eksulceracije sluznice lahko pri otroku nastopi nenadna, huda krvavitev iz prebavil. V prispevku avtorji opisujejo klinično sliko, diagnostiko in zdravljenje nenadne hude krvavitve iz prebavil pri pet mesečni dojenčici in 9-letnem fantu, nastale zaradi eksulceriranega Meckelovega divertikla.
