Abstract     Stress, alcohol and drugs, violence (both physical and psychological), HIV/AIDS and tobacco all lead to health-related problems for the worker and lower productivity for the enterprise. Taken together they represent a major cause of accidents, fatal injuries, disease and absenteeism at work in both industrialized and developing countries. To address these problems at the enterprise level, a comprehensive policy should be put into place. The ILO developed methodology (named SOLVE) that is designed to allow an organization or an enterprise to integrate psycho-social issues into overall enterprise policy and establish a framework for preventative action. Integral part of methodology is SOLVE questionnaire, which has been designed to recognize the problem and evaluate the effectiveness of SOLVE program. We begin the process of implementing the SOLVE program in Slovenia by translating the questionnaire and evaluate it by means of Principal component analyses, which shows factorial structure consistent with inner structure of questionnaire thus proofing, that future customization and implementation is meaningful.
