| Abstract | Some clinical tests frequently used in endocrinology are described. The authors present the advantages and disadvantages of these tests. They warn against frequent mistakes and pitfalls in their use and evaluation. Logical combinations of endocrinological tests are presented, based on examples of screening tests for Cushing's syndrome. | |
