Abstract		Computed tomography is the first imaging method to be used when examining various conditions of the external and middle ear and conductive hearing loss. In case of congenital malformations and mixed hearing loss, magnetic resonance and computed tomography are complementary. Magnetic resonance and magnetic resonance angiography are methods of choice in patients with sensorineural hearing loss and the first examination to be performed in case of pathology of the internal auditory meatus.
Summary		Računalniška tomografija je metoda izbora pri ugotavljanju vzrokov prevodne gluhosti oziroma oceni bolezenskih sprememb zunanjega in srednjega ušesa. Pri oceni prirojenih malformacij in mešani obliki gluhosti sta računalniška tomografija in magnetna resonanca komplementarni metodi. Magnetna resonanca in magnetnoresonančna angiografija pa sta metodi izbora pri ugotavljanju vzrokov senzorinevralne gluhosti oziroma oceni bolezenskih sprememb notranjega sluhovoda.
