Abstract		A total of 125 patients with acute vertigo and a peripheral vestibular disorder were evaluated during 2002; 45 of them also had a hearing impairment on the ipsilateral side and 15 became deaf in this ear. The authors separately categorised the causes of vestibular and vestibulocochlear dysfunction with total deafness.
Summary		V letu 2002 smo obravnavali 125 bolnkov z nenadno vrtoglavico in periferno vestibularno okvaro. 45 od njih je imelo tudi okvaro sluha na ipsilateralni strani,15 od teh je imelo popolno izgubo sluha na tem ušesu. Pri pregledu dokumentacije smo razvrstili dejavnike tveganja za vestibularno okvaro in vestibulokohlearno okvaro z gluhostjo prizadetega ušesa.
