Abstract		The author presents a case report on a female patient with tympanosclerosis of the right middle ear. During surgery, an anomaly of the bulbus of jugular vein was found, which could not be detected before surgery due to nonspecific clinical presentation. The author emphasises the role of computed tomography and angionuclear magnetic resonance in the diagnosis of such anomalies, underlining the risk of hemorrhage in such cases. The author also gives a review of literature on such anomalies.
Summary		Avtor poroča o bolnici s timpanosklerozo v desnem ušesu. Pri operaciji je bila najdena nepravilnost v poteku bulbusa jugularne vene, ki zaradi neznačilne klinične slike ni bil odkrit prehodno. Avtor poudarja pomen računalniške tomografije in žilne MR za odkrivanje podobnih anatomskih nepravilnosti. Opozarja na nevarnost krvavitve pri operaciji v srednjem ušesu v takih primerih. Podaja pregled literature, ki opisuje tovrstne anatomske nepravilnosti.
