Abstract		Psychotic disorders frequently occur in patients with epilepsy, but the diagnosis is frequently missed and the disease is untreated. Epidemiological data show that frequent association between epilepsy and psychosis has impact on quality of life of these people. In this article we describe epidemiological data, risk factors for psychosis and epilepsy, clinical pictures and therapy. We also describe the connection beetwen surgical therapy and occurance of psychosis and the impact of AED.
