Abstract		The problem of contamination of mouldy corn with mycotoxins of the trichothecene group is presented. The mycotoxins diacetoxyscirpenol, T-2 toxin and their metabolites as well as metabolites of deoxynivalenol were hydrolised to their corresponding parent alcohols: scirpentriol, T-2 tetraol and diacetoxynivalenol and then simultaneously analysed by gas chromatography with eleotron capture detector. Qualitative mass spectrometry confirmation was made. The results showed that our hygienically unsuitable corn is most frequently contaminated with toxins from the trichothecene group.
