Abstract		The author describes poisonous fish from the Adriatic Sea, about which most people from the continent know very little. Because we have become tourists and can often find ourselves in places where we come into contact with poisonous fish, the author describes five groups of fish that can cause problems if we are not familiar with them. As the poison of these fish degrades with the application of heat, the author describes methods of treatment and first aid when medical services are not on hand. The author also describes the danger of ingestion of eel's blood and methods of treatment.
