Abstract		Head and neck region has a good blood supply, therefore the inflammation complications connected with implants are rare. Patients with contaminated wounds and oncologic patients after radiation therapy of the head and neck region are at higher risk (up to 50%]. Risk due to inflammation complication could be diminished with choosing the proper osteosynthetic material, with good surgical technique, antibiotic therapy and hyperbaric oxygenation (HBO).
