Abstract     Myocardial perfusion scintigraphy examination is applied for testing the persistency of coronary artery disease and its consequences as myocardial viability, bypass surgery and medical therapy efficiency. For this, the radiopharmaceutical with distribution in myocardium according to myocardial perfusion is used and the SPECT imaging of myocardium is performed. The side result of examination is ECG gated tomography. The heart cycle is in aid of ECG signal separated in 8 parts, each part acquisited in different frame, the imaging sequence repeated until a quality image is reached. In a result a plot curve is derived, representing the cardiac cycle. In the results the volume and functional parameters of left ventricle as and diastolic and end systolic volumes and ejection fraction can he expressed, and from images loop estimated the regional contractility.
