Abstract     In last few decades methods of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) are more and more popular by patients. There are already successful integrations taking place in different countries to combine schoool medicine and CAM in order to fullfil patients' needs in a co-ordinated and safe manner. Patients' complains in school medicine are usually based on inappropriate relationships and communication with health care profesionals, but also because of the perception of not being treated as whole persons. Among others it can be one of the most important reasons for patients' growing interest for CAM. Integrated medical care often describes essential features of transformative experience in the process of healing: looking to other options, doing inner work, witnessing a shift in well-being and seeing the world with new eyes. It i.s worth considering the implications of these reports for the future health care.
