Abstract     In 32 patients restless leg symptoms were diagnosed. Patients had different sensorimotor symptoms. Prominent abnormality was an urge to move, then motor restlessness, worsening of symptoms by relaxation and sleep. A battery of laboratory and radiologic examinations was performed to rule out metabolic, infectious, autoimmune and neoplastic diseases as the cause of symptomatic RLS. The results of routine electrophysiological tests were normal, though psychophysical examination revealed distorted sensations.
