Abstract		Addiction treatment in Psychiatric Hospital Vojnik (Slovenia) is directed at activ and consistent involvement of patients' relatives into the programme. The purpose of inclusion is based on the fact that the fundament of changes are human relationships, facing the actual situation and better knowledge of the disease itself. It has been noted that close relatives of addicted persons are themselves endangered because of their high risk behaviour and that during the programme they begin to alter their beliefs and improve their important relationships.
