Abstract		Urinary incontinence and uterine prolapse are two pelvic floor disorders, which essentially decrease the quality of life of the affected woman. The problem is quite extensive and so far too little attention has been devoted to it. The primary level is unfortunately still lacking in knowledge as well as experience in the treatment of these disorders. Therefore, a more intensive education in this field for family physicians and gynecologists at the primary level is required.
