Abstract		Data for 100 patients divided in two groups, were obtained after six years of multicentric, randomized, clinical study: - group of patients with empiricaly treatment and Helicobacter pylori test after persistency of symptoms, - group of patients with medical therapy after endoscopic examination. 41% of patients from the empiricaly therapy group have passed 1,6 examinations, on the other hand 100%a of patients in endoscopy group underwent through 1,3 examinations. Only 38% of patients in empiricaly therapy group have taken proton pump inhibitors (PPI) and 56% in endoscopy group (p=0,14). There were no statistical differences in symptom prevalence and quality of life between both groups.
