Abstract		The author describes the anatomlcal features of the inguinofemoral region (bones, muscles, fascia including ligaments, peritoneal folds, vessels and nerves). The structure of the Inguinal canal is explained. Some surglcal Important regions are defined: the triangle of Hesselbach, the triangle of doom, the triangle of pain and corona mortis.
