Abstract     The diploma deals with the occupational therapy process and the role of team approach with children after upper limb amputation. The diploma presents the role and importance of assessment, the UNB test and a questionnaire of functional status of these children. The aim of the diploma is to find out the most appropriate and efficient way of assessment the prosthetic use. Twenty six children were included into the study. All children were tested by UNB test and an interview was performed by parents and children. The CAPP-FSI and the CAPP-FSIP were used for the interview. We found out that there is a high significant correlation between the UNB test and the interview and that parents objectively assess the frequency of doing the activities and the use of prosthesis. We can conclude that both instruments used are objective and valid for assessment of prosthetic use.
