Abstract     This article presents dementia and difficulties which clients are confronting. Cognitive decline, personal, behavioral and emotional changes are reason for difficult independent performance of all daily activities. One of the most important models, called the cognitive disabilities model, which is applied to the clients ith cognitive limitations. The article presents occupational therapy goals by the client with dementia and With sorts of interventional strategies which include: activities program, methods for teaching activities of daily living, adaptation of the living environment and the resources of nowadays technology. It has to be clear that dementia can also affect clients relatives - therefore the last part of this dissertation is intend for the relatives.
