Abstract		The system of health accounting in the field of health care, the change (from the old accounting of hospital cases to the new DRGs cases), was introduced on national base. The aim of the modification was the restoration of the stability of the health care system, but mostly the efficiency service, quality service, cost manageability and the keeping of data on hospital level. For years there has been an internal system of accounting for the radiological services provided for the clinic’s patients on the Institute for radiology in the Ljubljana Clinical center. The radiological services are accounted on the basis of the internal price list of the Clinical center and are therefore charged to single clinics under internal terms. All the prices in the internal price list of the Clinical center are defined with a code and value. With the new DRG (Diagnosis Related Group) method it was necessary to adjust the codes of the DRG and the ciphers of the radiological services of the internal system of accounting. At the Institute for radiology we use both methods because several radiological examinations are not defined in the DRG. We will be able to abolish the internal system of accounting when all the radiological services will be defined with the new methodology and evaluated similarly as in the internal price list of the Clinical center.
