Abstract		Balloon kyphoplasty is a new method, which is proving its success for treatment of compressive osteoporotic and osteolytic vertebral fractures, with extremely good results and low number of peri and postoperative complications. In General hospital Celje we have so far operated three patients: two with a "burst" fracture and one with a metastasis in corpus vertebrae L1. All procedures were without complications.
