Abstract		Sleep pattern was studied in two patients with chorea-acanthocytosis. Both paticnts originated from a large Slovenian family. A whole night polysomnographic recording (PSG) was performed. Sleep pattern disturbances similar to Huntington's disease patients were detected in both patients. However, we found an increased duration of slow wave sleep and longer latency of rapid eye movement sleep, in comparison to the previous studies done in ChAc patients. An important decrease in involuntary movernents during sleep was detected in both patients.
