Abstract		A new method of low lumbago back pain medical treatment has been presented-self- traction. In clinical evaluations, the method has been successful for 80% of patients with low back pain. There has been a decrease in pain, strength and pain area extent. The flexibility of lumbal area spine and the tension of body flexors and extensors has increased. There has been a significant improvement in patients' quality of life. The extended expert collegiate body of family medicine supported the usefulness of the method for low back pain (lumbago?) treatment in general medicine clinics on 29. 3. 2004.
