Abstract		The complete care for a child is in the quality nursing care. Modern practise is based on the concept of the individual as well as a family directed nursing care. Its essential purpose is to restore the partnership between a nurse and a family as a basic for the quality pediathric nursing care. The problems of a child with an infectious disease are fever, shivers, dirrhoea, vomiting, the ruined liquid balance, pain and being in hospital. A child is exposed to several hospital infections. The most important measure to prevent such infections is washing hands regularly. According to a kind of a disease the isolation measures must be taken. Therefore the nurses in hospital should educate the children and their parents in a medical way.
