Abstract		Venous leg disease - chronic venous disease and chronic venous insufficiency - is a frequent disease. Seven clinical classes of chronic venous disease are known. The first phlebologic examination of patients with chronic venous disease is described. The aim of this examination is to classify the clinical class of chronic venous disease of patients. According to this classification patients are treated. Sometimes we suggest to patients that other more complicated investigations must be done.
