Abstract		Pain is the most common warning sign indicating that there is something wrong with the body. Pain itself can be a valuable tool in determining its origin. This work describes abdominal, back, chest and hip pain as well as headache and fibromyalgia. Its prevalence, basic mesti- pathogenesis, localisation, projection, quality and the most probable and most common serious underlying diseases are also described.
