Abstract		The article presents the reasons that increase the tension in the abdomen, which has a great influence on breathing effect. Also the negative effect of general anesthesia and surgery is discussed. This is a reason for a special risk to postoperative respiratory complications (for abdominal patients). A detailed procedure for respiratory care for abdominal patients is included. It is determined regarding to the patient's most obvious problems.
