Abstract		Text treats experiences of intubated patients and their relatives during treatment at Intensive care unit of The University Clinic of Respiratory and Allergic Diseases Golnik. A literature review presents importance of professional admittance to intubated patients and their relatives, particular experiences of intubated patients and care for patient's family while treatment at Intensive care unit. In the empirical part authoress by using a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods acquires important data for treatment intubated patients and their relatives. The authoress collected data by using a questionnaire for patient's family and interview with intubated patients to find out their experiences during treatment at Intensive care unit. Results give important directions for further work with intubated patients and their relatives at Intensive care unit of The University Clinic of Respiratory and Allergic Diseases Golnik.
