Abstract     In patients with severe trauma, compromised airway is often a cause of prehospital death or complications. This can seriously deteriorate the neurological outcome. This may be prevented by securing the airway. That is why it presents one of the basic manuvers in managing trauma patients. Today we have all we need for the ETI (endotracheal intubation) in the field. Nevertheless, there are still a lot of problem and dilemmas about doing it.
