Abstract     An 18-years old forestry worker sustained serious injuries while his tractor toppled over on a very steep forrest road. Accident occurred off-season of mountain rescue team regular services. Victim was found deep in a gorge and sustained fracture of pelvis, bilateral femur fractures, right tibia fracture and many superficial wounds. An eyewitness alarmed 112 by mobile phone and three rescue teams were activated almost simultaneoussly (terrestrial emergency service - NMP, terrestrial mountain rescue team - GRS and helicopter rescue team - HNMP). GRS-team performed first-aid manoeuves and evacuated the victim safelly from the gorge. NMP-emergency doctor stopped serious bleeding from the open fracture at right thigh. Due to challenging weather conditions (snow, frezing temperatures, wind) no further medical help was performed on that location. Soon there-after the victim was taken into helicopter and vital parameters control and analgesia was performed during a short flight to Clinical centre. The purpose of the article is to evaluate the influence of coordination, good comunication and cooperation of three emergency teams on survival in polytrauma patient and to assess possibilities for future cooperation.
