Abstract		Novelties in the field of DDD legislation are developing in the European Union specially toward harmonisation of procedures on the area of assesssment of active substances in biocidal products and acquirement of permits for placing of biocidal products on the market, and on national level simpliflication of procedure with regard to fulfilment of conditions for production, placing on the market and use of dangerous chemicals on the basis of Act on Chemicals together with it's secundary legislation. In the present paper the role of the body, competent for chemicals will be presented in details as well as it's role in the process of acquiring of permits for legal and natural persons for production, placing on the market and use of dangerous chemicals. National procedures of getting different permits (authorisation, registration, temporary permit, mutual recognition of authorisations) for biocidal products and harmonised procedures of the assessment of biocidal active substances on the basis of common principles and developed guidances at the EU level will also be presented.
