Abstract		In endoscopic unite of Internal department in General hospital of Slovenj Gradec 28.2 new cases of collon cancer per year are discovered in average. With the larger number of colonoscopic examinations the icidence of collon cancer is also raising. Unfortunately, we do not have the results of 5-year survival in Carinthia region. According to data of European gastroenterologic society Slovenia is, with 35% of 5-year surviva.l of the patients with collon cancer, one of the countries with bad results in this cathegory. Better total survival in patients with collon cancer could be achived with better screening and discovery of the disease in its earller phase.
