Abstract     Medical workers that meet breastfeeding mothers also learn about young mothers' problems with breast-feeding as well as their different comprehension of it. Among these problems there are certain misunderstandings that may lead to doubts about siutability of their milk for the newborn child. One of such misunderstandings is also the so-called »watery milk«. Therefore the task of medical workers is to correctly inform mothers that their milk suits all the needs of their babies. Such mothers also tend to look for a reason that would excuse them from breast-feeding. Watery milk is statistically one of the most common reasons for giving up the breastfeeding.
