Abstract | In the article the most important elements in the nutrition used to strengthen the immune system and suspending the process of ageing are presented. Only healthy and balanced nutrition, which contains enough antioxidants enables to the human body resistance against free radical attack. The most important antioxidants are vitamin C, E, A, and other carotenoids, omega 10, flavonoids and many others. Free radical etiology research emerges new possibilities for preventing and treating many chronical diseases. It is important to use good, essential unsaturated fats omega3 and omega6. Regarding this, the appropriate proportion of fat intake is essential for its effect To straighten the immune system the adequate amount of fibrin and fermented milk products - probiotics should be consumed. Both type of mentioned nutritions are regarded as functional food. | |
Summary | Članek predstavi najpomembnejše elemente v prehrani, ki krepijo imunski sistem. Zdrava, uravnotežena prehrana, ki vsebuje dovolj antioksidantov, omogoča telesu dovolj dober odpor proti številnim prostim radikalom. Najmočnejši antioksidanti so vitamini C, E, A in drugi karotenoidi, Q10, flavonoidi in drugi. S poznavanjem vpliva prostih radikalov na razvoj različnih bolezni, se odpirajo široke možnosti uporabe naravnih antioksidantov tudi pri preprečevanju bolezni in pri njihovem zdravljenju. Pomembna je raba dobrih, esencialnih nenasičenih maščob omega3 in omega6. Pri tem moramo poskrbeti za ugodno razmerje pri vnosu omenjenih maščob. Za krepitev imunskega sistema je pomembna tudi raba zadostnih količin vlaknin v prehrani in fermentiranih mlečnih izdelkov - probiotikov. Obe vrsti živil in izdelkov štejemo med tako imenovana funkcionalna živila. | |
