Abstract		Gastrointestinal bleeding is important complication of intestinal diseases. It must be quickly identified. Urgent endoscopy permits endoscopic hemostatic procedures, selected pharmacologic systemic and local therapy is needed. There patients need permanent control in specialized intensive care units, what can reduce complications and mortality rate.
