Abstract		Over the past decade, management of patients with gastric lymphoma has undergone significant changes, with a shift toward nonsurgical management. Treatment of gastric lymphoma continues to evolve, but surgical resection is now not commonly part of the initial management strategy. lt appears that chemotherapy and radiotherapy should be considered first. There seems to be a diminishing role of operation for primary gastric lymphoma, and this should be an important consideration in clinical practice.
