Abstract     The theesis focuses on the satisfaction of nursing employees at Institute of Oncology and consists of two parts, theoretic part and empiric part. The theoretic part, at first, presents the Institute of Oncology, which is the central national institution for multidisciplinary diagnostics, treatment, research and education related to cancer diseases. Further on, the field of health care and nursing is presented, including the chronology, mission and vision. Finally, the theoretic part provides the definition of organizational climate, and analyzes the factors that have high influence on satisfaction of employees in health care and nursing. In the empiric part the practical analysis of organizational climate at Institute of Oncology is performed, involving 96 of total 257 employees. The analysis is based on the theoretic backgroud presented in the first part and provides important information about the climate, i.e, unsuitable working conditions, inequality of nursing and medical personnel, high level of expert knowledge and high commitment to work. On the basis of the results, obtained by the analysis, several activities for improvement of organizational climate are proposed.
