Abstract		Family practitioner plays an important role in all conservative therapy of fractures. Not only is he the coordinator of the multidisciplinary therapy of search injuries, but also knows his patient best. The biopsichosocial environment and the patients previous diseases can cause complication in therapy, which can be premeditated, prevented and adequately treated by the family preventioner. Stress fracture and asupressive fracture of vertebrae are frequvently treated by family practitioner. This article brings a review of the role of family practitioner in conservative treatment of fractures. Not only does he need adequate education, but also an excellent comunication with the envited team who treats the patient.
