Abstract		On the basis of toxicity and pollution analysis of individual streams in the Vič area (Gradaščica, Glinščica, Pržanec), the location for ecoremedation system for water treatment of polluted tributary was selected. The purpose of ERM system is to demonstrate good practice for water quality improvement in the area of the Municipality Ljubljana. For the selected location a feasibility study and project for construction were prepared, information of location, and project conditions from Ministry for the Environment and Spatial Planning, Environmental Agency of the Republic of Slovenia, Regional office Ljubljana as well as a consensus of protection of culture heritage from Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia, Regional unite Ljubljana and a water consensus from Ministry for the Environment and Spatial Planning, Environmental Agency of the Republic of Slovenia, Regional office Ljubljana have been obtained. After acquirement of a11 necessary documentation, the ERM system has been installed in December 2005. The system was planted in April 2006. In the frame of monitoring the zero conditions were determined. The final report incorporates also a monitoring program and an operational manual with estimated costs.
