Abstract | Making the correct diagnosis in the field can at times be difficult. We are always faced with the question at which point to transfer the patient to the hospital. lothe case we present we had a young male, unconscious with two small stab wounds in the thorax. There was no reliable heteroanamnestic information how the incident took place. We diagnosed intoxication and hypoxia. Following primary care cardiopulmonary arrest occoured and we started with cardiopulmonary resuscitation. After arrival in hospital ultrasound diagnosis of cardiac tamponade was established. There was pericardial hemorrhagie caused by stab wound in left ventricele. | |
