Abstract     Emergency Medical Dispatch Services perform their tasks using special form of communication telecommunication. Because the phone is basic tool for call taking process that is the main cause for all problems. Fast call taking response times are important from different reasons. The most common and simple reason is the fact that anyone who calls emergency medical dispatch believes that his call is the most important. And how to achieve short call taking response times? Achieving a leading rule in communication between call taker and caller is definitely the right answer. Success of field intervention in most cases depends on successful communication between call taker and caller. From that reason all call takers should have high level of theoretical and practical communication knowledge and high level of communication skills.
