Abstract		Being equipped with medical knowledge is of great importance but it is also very important to be capable of aplying it in everyday practice. Clinical department of anesthesia in Clinical centre Ljubljana has five nurses and five anaesthesiologists working in five emergency teams during afternoon and night shifts. There are also teams on call in our department: kidney transplat and organ explant team, liver transplant team, heart transplant team and team for helicopter transfers of seriously ill patiens between hospitals. The article presents staff members working in afternoon and nigth shifts and responsabilities of team members while on duty. Article also presents the differences in working conditions and the differences in the amount of stress being under while working among different teams. All the data were statistically presented.
