| Abstract | In this presentation we would like to present knowledge and skills of professional fire fighters used in interventions of car accidents in road tunnels. When a car accident happen in road tunnel involved with trapped injured people in car wreck, it is likely that a fire will appear. A number of questions turn up as like: who is in charge, as so far can paramedic can go and when they have leave the fire fighters to proceed, what is the right procedure of rescuing of injured. Those and many more questions were been solved on three day education course for professional fire fighters in Education Center of Slovenia on Ig. This course where accompanied with final exercise (drill) held in Commercial cargo terminal Ljubljana. As we were active participants in education course and exercise as instructor of immobilization, medical rescue and leading the rescue intervention and extinguishing the fire, we will illustrate and complete our presentation with pictures, sketches of "HOW, WHERE, WHERE TO and IN WHAT ORDER TO DO". | |
