Abstract		It is estimated that the event of an bigger accident in the tunnel there are arround 200 to 500 people in danger (depending on the lenght of the tunnel). Despite the fact that the safety in our tunnels is on a high level and that there are not much accidents in tunnel, the perfectionism of machinery and the cooperation of police, fire department, EMS and operators on duty is still necessary. All the departmens that are involved in working together during an accident in the tunnel need to have a pre planed plan of protection, saving and help in the event of a tunnel accident.
