Abstract		Psychiatric aspect in the multidisciplinary approach to patients with chronic non-malignant pain is presented through the case study. In this paper, the authors review psychological aspects of pain and highlight psychiatric comorbid psychopathology and the risk for the iatrogenic abuse and addiction of analgetics. The role of the psychiatrist in the treatment of patients with chronic non-malignant pain is reviewed. The effective multidisciplinary care of patients with chronic non-malignant pain should include rigorous assessment and treatment of psychiatric comorbidity. Patient's potential for (opioid) analgetic addiction should be always considered.
Summary		Avtorice skozi predstavitev primera multidisciplinarne obravnave pacienta s kronično nemaligno bolečino opisujejo predvsem psihiatrični pogled na zdravljenje tovrstnih pacientov. Pri tem poudarjajo pomen pojavljanja sočasnih (komorbidnih) duševnih motenj in opozarjajo na vedno večjo nevarnost iatrogene odvisnosti od analgetikov. Predlagajo tudi načine zdravljenja, ki jih lahko ponudi psihiatrija. Prispevek zaključujejo s predlogom za redno multidisciplinarno obravnavo bolnikov s kronično bolečino, v kateri je vloga psihiatra tako v ocenjevanju morebitne komorbidne duševne motnje kot v prepoznavanju pacientovega potenciala za razvoj odvisnosti od (opioidnih) analgetikov.
