Abstract | Neuromyofascial pain-segmental desenzitization, a method described by A.A. Fisher and M. Imamura, and treatment results in 55 patients with vertebrogenic pain are presented. Immediately after the therapy mean pain intensity diminished by 3 points VAS 0-10 (t=5.86 p<0.001) and pain provoked by pressure on muscular tender spots for 4.3 points (t=5.86 p<0.001). Difference is statistically significant. Patients demonstrated sitting and standing up without pain, were able to put on shoes in standing position and walked by longer steps than before treatment. Beneficial effect on pain and function persisted. 14 patients were evaluated 7 days after therapy. Difference of pain intensity between pain immediately after therapy and after 7 days was not statistically significant (t=0.267 p>0.05). Two case reports are presented.
Summary | Predstavljena je metoda neuromioterapije miofascialne bolečine - segmentne desenzitizacije (Fisher AA, M. lmamura) in rezultati zdravljenja pri SS bolnikih z vertebrogeno bolečino. Razlika ocene intenzitete povprečne bolečine takoj poterapiji in po 7 dnevih ni statistično značilna ( t=0.267 P>O.OS). Prikazana sta primera dveh bolnikov.
