Abstract		Overweight and obesity are causing a significant and importantly raising burden of disease in Euro WHO region. WHO Ministerial conference in 2006 for Euro region is dedicated to this topic and a charter on obesity is prepared for this occasion to be adopted by member states. Charter is defining necessary activities to curb the obesity trends in Europe.
